Must possess relevant maritime certifications, including STCW, with additional endorsements beneficial for towage vessel operations.
Previous experience in an AB role on towage or similar vessels, showcasing a deep understanding of the unique operational demands of towage services.
Strong seaman skills, and knowledge of maritime laws, safety standards, and procedures relevant to towage.
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for clear and concise reporting and collaboration.
A proactive, problem-solving attitude, ready to address and overcome challenges as they arise.
Prepared to respond to emergencies with calmness and decisive action, ensuring the safety of the vessel and crew.
