We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Cable Lay Vessel (CLV) operating in Greece.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing deck operations, mooring, cable handling, and general maintenance duties under the supervision of the Bosun and Deck Officers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with cable laying, anchor handling, and deck maintenance operations.
• Participate in mooring/unmooring, rigging, and crane operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the working deck and equipment.
• Stand navigational and safety watches as required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW II/4 or II/5 AB CoC.
• Experience on offshore / cable lay vessels preferred.
• Valid Seaman’s Book, Medical, and STCW Basic Safety Training.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Must hold EU nationality or Schengen visa.
