Job Description
A maritime operator is seeking an experienced AB / Cook to perform combined deck and catering duties onboard a Multipurpose, Multicat, or Research Vessel operating in the UK.
The successful candidate will support deck operations while preparing meals for the crew and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform AB duties including deck maintenance and mooring operations
• Assist with cargo and general deck activities
• Prepare daily meals for crew members
• Maintain galley cleanliness and food hygiene
• Manage food storage and basic provisioning duties
• Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
Requirements
• Valid Able Seafarer Deck / AB certification
• Previous combined AB / Cook experience preferred
• Experience on offshore or multipurpose vessels is an advantage
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Food Hygiene / Food Safety certificate preferred
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety, hygiene, and teamwork awareness
