Job Description
PT. Benteng Marine Service is currently seeking an experienced AB Cook to join a Crewboat Vessel supporting offshore marine operations.
The successful candidate will combine Able Seaman duties with onboard catering responsibilities, assisting with safe deck operations while preparing nutritious meals and maintaining high galley hygiene standards.
This opportunity is ideal for seafarers with previous Crewboat, Tug Boat, or Workboat experience.
Job Responsibilities
Perform Able Seaman duties during vessel operations
Participate in mooring, anchoring, and deck maintenance
Prepare daily meals for crew members
Maintain galley cleanliness and food hygiene
Manage food storage and provisions
Assist during emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Previous experience as AB Cook onboard Crewboat, Tug Boat, or Workboat
Valid Able Seaman Certificate
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates must remain valid for at least 15 months
Good English communication skills
Food handling experience preferred
Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for sea service
