PT. Benteng Marine Service is seeking an experienced AB / Cook to join a Crewboat operating in Saudi Arabian offshore waters.
The successful candidate will combine Able Seaman deck duties with catering responsibilities, supporting safe vessel operations while preparing meals and maintaining galley hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform deck maintenance, cleaning, and general AB duties
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, berthing, and vessel operations
• Support offshore personnel embarkation and disembarkation
• Handle ropes, wires, and deck equipment safely
• Prepare daily meals for crew members
• Maintain galley cleanliness and food hygiene standards
• Manage food storage and assist with provisions
• Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety activities
Requirements
• Valid Able Seafarer Deck / AB certification
• Relevant Cook / Catering qualification or documented cooking experience
• Valid ARAMCO Approval – mandatory
• Previous Crewboat experience – mandatory
• Valid maritime documents with at least 15 months remaining validity
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety, hygiene, and teamwork awareness
• Physically and medically fit for offshore service
