We are urgently recruiting an experienced AB / Cook to join an offshore vessel operating in the UK.
The successful candidate will combine Able Seaman deck duties with catering responsibilities, supporting safe anchor handling operations, deck maintenance, mooring activities, and onboard meal preparation.

Contract Duration: Up to 8 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform Able Seaman duties during anchor handling and deck operations
• Assist with mooring, towing, anchoring, and deck maintenance activities
• Handle ropes, wires, and deck equipment safely
• Prepare daily meals for crew members
• Maintain galley cleanliness and food hygiene standards
• Assist with food provisioning and storage
• Participate in emergency drills and follow onboard HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Previous experience as AB / Cook onboard offshore vessels
• Anchor handling experience is mandatory
• Valid UK Flag Work Permit / UKFWP is mandatory
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Able Seaman certification
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Relevant food hygiene / catering certification preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
• Ability to join on 22 August 2026
