Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking an experienced Third Officer to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Malaysia Offshore.
The successful candidate will assist with bridge watchkeeping, navigational duties, safety management, offshore support activities, and vessel documentation while ensuring compliance with international maritime and offshore safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for Third Officers with previous offshore support vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
Assist senior officers with bridge operations
Support Dynamic Positioning activities where applicable
Participate in mooring, cargo, and offshore support operations
Maintain bridge documentation and navigational records
Assist with safety inspections and emergency drills
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Third Officer on AWB DP2 or equivalent offshore vessels
Valid Certificate of Competency (OOW)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid Rigging & Slinging Certificate
Valid passport and offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
