PT Savana Charta Indonesia is seeking a qualified Second Officer to join a Floating Crane Vessel operating in Guinea, West Africa.
The successful candidate will be responsible for navigational watchkeeping, safety management, voyage planning assistance, and supporting vessel operations in accordance with international maritime standards.
Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
Assist with voyage planning and chart corrections
Maintain safety equipment and records
Support cargo and crane operations
Participate in emergency drills and safety programs
Ensure compliance with STCW and company procedures
Requirements
Indonesian Seafarer only
Fluent English communication skills
Experience onboard Floating Crane Vessels preferred
Minimum 2 contracts in the same rank and vessel type
Valid Officer COC as per STCW 2010
Valid passport and seafarer documentation
Minimum 18 months validity on certificates
Valid Yellow Fever and Cholera vaccinations
Completed COVID-19 vaccination
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
