Job Description
A leading offshore company is currently seeking an experienced Second Officer to join an Accommodation Vessel supporting offshore operations worldwide.
The successful candidate will perform navigational watchkeeping duties, assist the Master and Chief Officer with vessel operations, support offshore activities, maintain navigational equipment, and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for officers with previous experience onboard Accommodation Vessels or DP Offshore Vessels.
Job Responsibilities
Perform bridge watchkeeping duties
Assist with navigation and voyage planning
Maintain navigational charts, publications, and bridge equipment
Support offshore cargo and deck operations
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE policies
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Second Officer
Previous experience onboard Accommodation Vessels or DP Offshore Vessels
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) Certificate of Competency
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong navigational knowledge and teamwork skills
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
