A leading offshore company is currently seeking an experienced DP 2nd Officer to join an upcoming offshore project in Sabah, Malaysia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for navigational watchkeeping, Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations, bridge resource management, and ensuring safe vessel operations in compliance with international maritime and offshore standards.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain navigational and DP watchkeeping duties
Operate and monitor Dynamic Positioning systems
Assist with voyage planning and bridge operations
Coordinate offshore activities with the Master and project team
Maintain navigational records and documentation
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and offshore regulations
Requirements
Malaysian or Sabahan nationality
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid DP Operator Certificate
Previous offshore vessel experience preferred
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
