Atlas Next Wave is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Officer to join a Jack-up Vessel supporting offshore operations in the United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will perform navigational watchkeeping duties, assist with vessel operations, coordinate safety procedures, and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and offshore HSE standards.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore deck officers who are eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
Job Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
Assist with safe vessel navigation and positioning
Maintain bridge equipment and navigational records
Coordinate deck operations with senior officers
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with STCW and offshore HSE procedures
Support offshore project operations
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Certificate of Competency as Officer of the Watch
GWO Working at Heights & Manual Handling
HUET, BOSIET or FOET
Chester Step Test
Helideck Landing Officer Training
Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
Previous offshore or Jack-up Vessel experience preferred
Valid passport and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
