Job Description
A leading offshore company is currently seeking an experienced Second Engineer to join an Accommodation Vessel supporting offshore operations worldwide.
The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in managing the engine department, maintaining propulsion and auxiliary machinery, supervising engine room maintenance, and ensuring compliance with company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations.
This opportunity is ideal for engineers with previous Accommodation Vessel or DP Offshore Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer with daily engine room operations
Supervise maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Monitor machinery performance and fuel systems
Coordinate planned maintenance activities
Maintain engine room documentation
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with STCW and company HSE procedures
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Second Engineer
Previous experience onboard Accommodation Vessels or DP Offshore Vessels
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong engineering and troubleshooting skills
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
