We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a Work Boat & Utility Vessel fleet. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in managing the engine department and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and technical systems onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting the Chief Engineer with engine room operations.
Supervising engine room watchkeeping and engineering crew.
Performing planned maintenance and repairs on machinery.
Monitoring engine performance and reporting technical issues.
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC).
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
Previous experience in a similar rank on Work Boat or Utility Vessel preferred.
