We are urgently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a 416 GT Tug Boat operating between Malta and Nigeria.
The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer with the operation and maintenance of the vessel’s machinery and engine room systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
Monitoring engine room equipment and machinery performance.
Carrying out planned maintenance and repairs.
Maintaining engine room safety and operational standards.
Supporting the Chief Engineer in daily engine department activities.
Requirements:
Valid 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency.
Relevant Tug Boat / Work Boat experience.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to join in Malta without a visa or hold a valid Malta visa.
Immediate availability.
