Job Description

PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer (ATT II) to join a Self Propelled Barge (SPB) equipped with two offshore cranes for an offshore project in Guinea, West Africa.

The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in managing the engine department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, generators, and onboard engineering equipment while complying with international maritime regulations and company HSE standards.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced engineers with previous Self Propelled Barge and West Africa operational experience.

Job Responsibilities
Assist in the operation and maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Supervise daily engine room activities
Carry out planned maintenance and repair work
Monitor machinery performance and fuel consumption
Maintain engineering logs and technical documentation
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and international maritime regulations
Support safe and efficient vessel operations

Requirements
Valid 2nd Engineer (ATT II) Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package (BST MSC 560)
Minimum 24 months of experience onboard Self Propelled Barges (SPB) in the rank of 2nd Engineer
Previous West Africa experience is mandatory
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates valid for at least 18 months
Good English communication skills
Strong engineering knowledge and safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
