**Job Description:**
We have a **temporary vacancy for a 2nd Engineer (EOOW)** to join our client’s Landing Craft vessel operating in the Falkland Islands. The selected candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient engine room operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate and maintain all engine room machinery and auxiliary systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards at all times
• Assist in planning and execution of maintenance schedules
• Keep accurate technical records, logs, and report to the Chief Engineer

**Requirements:**
• EOOW minimum (UK) Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid Seafarer Medical
• Full STCW certification
• Designated Security Duties endorsement
• Experience in rank on Landing Craft or similar vessels preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
