We are urgently hiring an experienced 2nd Engineer for upcoming Jack-Up operations in Qatar. The candidate must hold a Chief Engineer COC and have strong technical expertise in marine engineering. Experience working on Jack-Up barges is highly preferred. The role involves assisting with all engine room operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring overall machinery efficiency according to operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing engine room machinery and equipment operations
• Supporting the Chief Engineer in maintenance and repairs
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures
• Monitoring engine performance and system parameters
• Supervising engine room ratings
Requirements:
• Chief Engineer COC (required)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same rank
• Jack-Up experience (priority)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Offshore medical
• BOSIET/FOET (preferred)
• Good command of English
