Job Description

A leading offshore operator is seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an Emergency Response & Rescue Vessel (ERRV) operating on a fixed rotational schedule.

The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining the vessel's propulsion and auxiliary machinery while ensuring safe and efficient engine room operations in accordance with international maritime regulations.

Job Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer with engine room management
Operate, monitor, and maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Carry out planned maintenance and repair work
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment as required
Maintain engine room logs and maintenance records
Ensure compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company procedures
Participate in emergency drills and response operations
Promote a safe and efficient working environment onboard
Requirements
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid Certificate of Competency (2nd Engineer)
Previous experience as 2nd Engineer on ERRV or offshore support vessels
Experience with MaK main engines is mandatory
Valid passport, seaman's book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness

Rotation: 6 Weeks On / 6 Weeks Off
Joining Date: 23 September
Employment Type: Contract
