A leading offshore maritime company is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a DSV vessel with joining scheduled for 20th May.
The selected candidate will support engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and offshore technical activities while ensuring compliance with international maritime and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with daily engine room operations
Maintain and repair vessel machinery and auxiliary equipment
Monitor engine performance and technical systems
Support planned maintenance and troubleshooting activities
Ensure compliance with HSE and company procedures
Maintain engine room safety and operational readiness
Requirements
Right to work in the UK is mandatory
Valid CoC/COP, STCW, and Medical certificates
Valid Marlins test certification preferred
Previous offshore or DSV vessel experience preferred
Good English communication skills
Strong technical and safety awareness
