**Job Description:**
We are looking for an experienced **2nd Engineer** to join a Cable Layer vessel operating in Qatar. The assignment is scheduled to start in **October 2025** with an expected duration of approximately 6 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for engine room operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of all machinery in line with company and international standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate and maintain engine room machinery and systems
• Supervise engine room crew in daily tasks and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures
• Assist Chief Engineer with reporting, planning, and technical operations

**Requirements:**
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• BOSIET with CA-EBS including HUET
• GWO Sea Survival
• Experience in rank (2nd Engineer) on offshore or specialized vessels (preferably Cable Layer)
• Proficiency in English communication
