Job Description:
We are hiring a 1st Engineer for our Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) vessel. Candidates with dredging vessel experience will be prioritized, but offshore, drilling, or large vessel backgrounds will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Chief Engineer in daily operations of the engine department
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of main and auxiliary engines
• Monitor fuel, lubrication, and performance of machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Supervise engine room crew when delegated
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous experience as 1st Engineer or 2nd Engineer on dredging or large vessels
