PT Savana Charta Indonesia is currently recruiting a Wiper to join its Oil Tanker fleet. The successful candidate will support the engineering department by maintaining engine room cleanliness, assisting with machinery maintenance, and performing routine tasks under the supervision of senior engineering officers.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting engineers with engine room maintenance and housekeeping.
Cleaning machinery spaces and engine room equipment.
Supporting lubrication and routine maintenance activities.
Assisting during machinery inspections and repairs.
Participating in emergency drills and complying with safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW Certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Valid BOCT, ACT, and AOT certificates.
Certificate of Competency (COC), where applicable, valid for at least 18 months.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Wiper on an Oil Tanker preferred.
Completed COVID-19 vaccination.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
