MCT is recruiting an experienced Pumpman to join a VLCC fleet operating on international trade routes.
The successful candidate will support crude oil cargo operations, maintain cargo pumps and related systems, and ensure safe transfer operations onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain cargo pumps and associated equipment
• Assist with loading and discharge operations
• Monitor cargo pipelines, valves, pumps, and related systems
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance
• Support tank preparation and cargo operations
• Follow tanker safety and pollution-prevention procedures
Requirements:
• Indonesian nationality
• Previous Pumpman experience onboard VLCC vessels required
• Valid STCW 2010 certificates with at least 18 months remaining validity
• Relevant tanker/cargo-operation training certificates
• Valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to sail through HRA routes, particularly the Strait of Hormuz
• Ready for immediate joining
