PT Savana Charta Indonesia is looking for an experienced Oiler to join its Oil Tanker fleet. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with the operation, maintenance, and lubrication of engine room machinery while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting engineers during engine room watchkeeping.
Lubricating machinery and monitoring equipment performance.
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of engine room spaces.
Reporting machinery defects and assisting with repairs.
Participating in emergency drills and following company safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW Certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Valid BOCT, ACT, and AOT certificates.
Certificate of Competency (COC), where applicable, valid for at least 18 months.
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Oiler on an Oil Tanker.
Completed COVID-19 vaccination.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
