We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Master to join our Oil Tanker fleet operating in Nigeria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation, cargo operations, and overall command of the vessel in compliance with company policies and international maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe and efficient navigation and vessel operations.
• Oversee cargo handling, ballast operations, and stability management.
• Maintain compliance with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, and SOLAS regulations.
• Supervise and manage all onboard personnel and operational readiness.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety drills as per company HSE procedures.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW II/2 Master (National COC).
• 18–24 months of Oil Tanker experience – mandatory.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of tanker safety and international standards.
