Job Description
Vasundhara Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Master to join Aframax, Suezmax, and VLCC Tankers operating on international trading routes.
The successful candidate will assume full command of the vessel, ensuring safe navigation, cargo operations, crew management, and compliance with international maritime regulations, company procedures, and HSE standards.
This opportunity is ideal for Masters with previous command experience onboard crude oil tankers.
Job Responsibilities
Assume full command of the vessel
Ensure safe navigation during voyages and port operations
Supervise cargo loading, discharge, and ballast operations
Lead bridge, deck, and engine departments
Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISM Code, and company HSE policies
Conduct safety meetings and emergency drills
Maintain vessel documentation and operational readiness
Promote a strong safety culture onboard
Requirements
Previous experience as Master onboard Aframax, Suezmax, or VLCC Tankers
Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership, tanker cargo handling, and navigational skills
Ability to work effectively within multinational crews
Physically and medically fit for sea service
