PT Savana Charta Indonesia is currently seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join its Oil Tanker Vessel fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems onboard while ensuring safe and uninterrupted vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintaining electrical power generation and distribution systems.
Troubleshooting automation, navigation, communication, and control equipment.
Performing preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems.
Supporting engine room operations during repairs and maintenance.
Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency (COC), where applicable.
Valid STCW Certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Valid BOCT, ACT, and AOT certificates.
Certificate of Competency (COC) valid for at least 18 months.
Minimum 1 year of experience as an ETO on an Oil Tanker.
Completed COVID-19 vaccination.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
