We are hiring a competent Electro Technical Officer (ETO) for an Oil Tanker vessel operating in Nigeria.
The ETO will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of all electrical and electronic systems.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and calibration of automation systems.
• Monitor alarms, sensors, and power management systems.
• Support the Chief Engineer in ensuring compliance with safety and class requirements.
• Maintain detailed maintenance and inspection records.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW III/6 ETO (National COC).
• 18–24 months of Oil Tanker experience – essential.
• Expertise in marine electrical systems, PLCs, and automation controls.
• Valid STCW and medical certificates.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
