Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all electrical and electronic systems onboard.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
- STCW III/6 Electro-Technical Officer license.
- Previous experience as an ETO on bulkcarrier vessels.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Good communication skills in English.
