Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure AV/IT systems has not been tampered with i.e., they are performing as designed and as agreed with SSM office and company suppliers for AV/IT equipment.
Ensure LAN network and its components and design has not been tampered with i.e., changes to LAN that is not advised with IT supplier.
Prevent misunderstandings of the equipment’s performance by having in depth knowledge of the systems capabilities, and ability to explain this to the charter and crew onboard the vessel. Create and deploy information posters, user manuals etc.
Handle requests from charter representatives and ensuring those are forwarded to SSM office for consideration.
