Job Description:
Elvictor Group SA is looking for a dedicated Assistant Electrician to join our team aboard a Bulk & Container Carrier vessel in the EU. As an Assistant Electrician, you will support the chief electrician in maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment on board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Electrician in maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Assist with installation and testing of electrical components
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Provide support during electrical-related emergencies
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English
• Previous experience as an Assistant Electrician on a vessel or in a similar role is preferred
• Basic knowledge of maritime electrical systems
