Knowledge & Skills – Desirable: the CO should preferably have or hold:
Attended Maritime Resource Management (or similar) training.
Pilotage Exemption Certificates relevant to the service.
A working knowledge of the ISM Code.
A working knowledge of relevant sections of the Code of Safe Working Practices.
