Job Description
The Chief Officer is responsible for cargo operations, stability, ballast management, deck maintenance, and safety supervision on board an Oil / Chemical Tanker. The role includes overseeing cargo loading/discharging, ensuring compliance with tanker safety procedures, and managing deck crew in accordance with company and international regulations.
Requirements
Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency
Valid STCW certification
Previous experience on Oil / Chemical Tankers
Strong knowledge of tanker cargo operations and safety
Valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
Good command of English
