The Chief Engineer’s responsibilities will include:
- Representation of the company onboard,
- Safe, efficient and economical operation of the Engineering department,
- Driving and fostering a strong safety culture onboard,
- Ensuring that the Company’s regulations affecting the Engineering department are carried out.
- Enforcing all orders issued by the Master and keep the Master informed of all matters connected with the Engineering Department.
