We are looking for a skilled Chief Engineer with proven experience on Oil Tanker vessels to join our client’s offshore operations in Nigeria.
The Chief Engineer will oversee all aspects of vessel engineering systems, maintenance, and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise all engineering operations and engine room personnel.
• Ensure optimal performance of propulsion, auxiliary, and safety systems.
• Maintain machinery logs, defect reports, and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor fuel, oil, and consumable usage within company standards.
• Adhere to safety, pollution prevention, and class regulations.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW III/2 Chief Engineer (National COC).
• Minimum 18–24 months of Oil Tanker experience.
• Proficiency in engine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Valid offshore medical and STCW documents.
• Strong command of English and good teamwork skills.
