The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all engine room operations, maintenance programs, machinery performance, engineering personnel, and regulatory compliance.
This position is ideal for senior engineering professionals with tanker vessel experience and strong technical leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities
Manage all engine room operations
Supervise engineering officers and ratings
Maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Implement preventive maintenance programs
Monitor fuel consumption and machinery performance
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations
Prepare technical reports and maintenance records
Coordinate repairs and dry-docking activities
Requirements
General Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Tanker Requirements
Previous experience as Chief Engineer on tanker vessels
Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines and auxiliary systems
Experience with tanker machinery operations
Strong leadership and technical management skills
