Job Description:
A reputable shipping company is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Chemical Tanker Vessel operating on international trading routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and technical systems while ensuring compliance with international regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Manage the Engineering Department and engine room operations
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery
• Supervise planned and corrective maintenance
• Monitor machinery performance and technical condition
• Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, and company HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
• Previous Chief Engineer experience on Chemical Tankers preferred
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid tanker training certificates as applicable
• Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate
• Strong marine engineering and troubleshooting skills
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and safety awareness
