PT Savana Charta Indonesia is currently recruiting an experienced Bosun to join a VLCC vessel. The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and coordinate daily deck maintenance, mooring, anchoring, cargo support, and other deck activities under the direction of the Chief Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervising deck ratings during daily maintenance and operational activities.
Coordinating mooring, anchoring, and cargo support operations.
Organizing painting, cleaning, and preservation of deck equipment.
Inspecting deck machinery and reporting defects.
Ensuring safe working practices are followed by the deck crew.
Requirements:
Valid STCW Certificates.
Valid BOCT, ACT, and AOT certificates.
Valid COC and COP as applicable under STCW 2010, with a minimum validity of 18 months.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Fluent English communication skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and vessel type.
Experience on vessels up to 50,000 GRT.
Experience working with multinational crews.
Completed COVID-19 vaccination.
Indonesian seafarers only.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.

Salary: USD 2,200 per month
