Job Description:
CSM Indonesia is recruiting an experienced Bosun to join Crude Oil Tankers operating on international trading routes.
The successful candidate will supervise deck ratings, support cargo and deck operations, and ensure safe maintenance activities onboard in accordance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervise Able Seamen and deck crew during daily operations
• Assist with cargo operations, mooring, and deck maintenance activities
• Conduct inspections and ensure proper use of deck equipment
• Support planned maintenance and repair tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety activities
Requirements:
• Minimum 24 months of experience in the same rank onboard Crude Oil Tankers
• Valid STCW 2010 certification package
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Valid Passport
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Previous tanker vessel experience required
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
• Physically and medically fit for sea service
