Job Description:
Seaspan Corporation is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Container Carrier Vessel engaged in global trade. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, cargo handling, and general maintenance while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform deck maintenance, painting, and cleaning duties
• Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
• Stand navigational and security watches as assigned
• Support officers and Bosun during cargo and maintenance tasks
• Maintain safe working practices at all times
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Minimum 12 months sea service in rank on a similar vessel type
• Good command of English language
• Team player with strong work ethic
