Job Description:
Spliethoff is looking for a skilled AB/Fitter to join its Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV) fleet. The role combines deck duties with metalwork and repair tasks to ensure the vessel’s safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general deck work, mooring, and cargo handling
• Conduct steel repairs and welding as required
• Maintain deck machinery and equipment
• Support Bosun and Officers in daily operations
• Participate in safety and emergency drills
Requirements:
• Valid STCW AB certificate
• Medical fitness certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong welding and fitting experience required
• Experience with European crew preferred
