Equinox Shipping Group is seeking an experienced 1st Assistant Engineer to support engine room operations onboard LPG, Oil, and Chemical Tanker vessels worldwide.
The successful candidate will supervise engineering personnel, oversee machinery maintenance, and ensure safe and efficient engine room operations.

Job Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations
Supervise maintenance and repair activities
Monitor machinery performance and operational parameters
Maintain engine room documentation and records
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Engineering Certificate of Competency
Previous tanker vessel experience preferred
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong technical knowledge of marine machinery
