Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced 1st Assistant Engineer to support engine room operations and technical maintenance onboard a Chemical Tanker.
Vessel Type: Chemical Tanker
Trading Area: Worldwide
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer with engine room operations
• Supervise maintenance and repair activities
• Monitor main and auxiliary machinery
• Perform troubleshooting and technical inspections
• Maintain engineering records and safety procedures
Requirements:
• Valid Engineering Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position
• Previous tanker experience preferred
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid tanker training certificates where applicable
• Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate
• Strong technical and maintenance skills
• Good English communication skills
