Job Description
Vasundhara Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Third Engineer to join Aframax, Suezmax, and VLCC Tankers operating on international trading routes.
The successful candidate will perform engine room watchkeeping duties, operate and maintain auxiliary machinery, assist with planned maintenance, and support the engineering department in ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced engineers with previous tanker vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Perform engine room watchkeeping duties
Operate and maintain auxiliary machinery
Carry out planned maintenance and repairs
Monitor machinery performance and report defects
Maintain engine room records and documentation
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Previous experience as Third Engineer onboard Aframax, Suezmax, or VLCC Tankers
Valid Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) Certificate of Competency
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong engineering knowledge
Excellent teamwork and safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for sea service
