Valid STCW certificates, including a valid competency certificate as Second Officer.
At least 1 year of experience on sea-going ships, preferably in a similar role.
Excellent navigation skills and a thorough knowledge of maritime safety procedures.
Knowledge and experience in handling navigation and communication equipment.
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
A team player with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
Able to work under pressure and respond adequately in emergency situations.
