PT Jasa Internasional Maritim is recruiting an experienced 2nd Officer to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting bridge operations, navigation, safety duties, and deck operations in accordance with company procedures and international maritime standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
Assist the Master with safe navigation and voyage planning
Maintain navigational equipment and required records
Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
Support deck, mooring, and cargo operations as required
Ensure compliance with vessel safety and environmental procedures
Maintain proper bridge documentation
Requirements
Indonesian seafarer
Previous experience as a 2nd Officer
Previous experience onboard Bulk Carrier vessels
Valid certificates and qualifications required for the position
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural crew
