Job Description
Vasundhara Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Second Engineer to join Aframax, Suezmax, and VLCC Tankers operating on international trading routes.
The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in managing the engine department, supervise maintenance activities, monitor propulsion systems, and ensure safe engine room operations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced tanker engineers.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer with daily engine room operations
Supervise machinery maintenance and repairs
Monitor propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Maintain engine room documentation
Coordinate planned maintenance
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Previous experience as Second Engineer onboard Aframax, Suezmax, or VLCC Tankers
Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong engineering knowledge
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
Physically and medically fit for sea service
