Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the operation and maintenance of all machinery onboard.
- Ensure all engine room equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Supervise engine room personnel and provide guidance as needed.
- Implement and adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Assist in the training and development of junior engineering staff.
Requirements:
- STCW III/2 license required.
- Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer on Tanker - Crude Oil vessels preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
