* Package: Salary in Euros – leave 176 paid days (~2:2)
*Experience and attributes required:
* Proven record and longevity in leading engineering teams of 10 or more.
* Leading assigned watch keeping officers and crew in operating all engine room machinery.
* Thoroughly familiar with compliance relevant regulations, with particular emphasis on international rules and requirements.
* Assigning the daily work of subordinate engineers and engine ratings: keeping track of their regular and overtime working hours, ensuring that all machinery, firefighting, and safety equipment within the engine room is working correctly and according to all regulation.
* The First Engineer has the overall responsibility for assisting the Chief Engineer with the maintenance and repair all systems.
* ABB Azipod experience is a great advantage.
* Caterpillar 3516 experience is a great advantage.
* AMOS/IDEA PMS (or similar) experience is a must
* Fluent English both written and oral
* Cruise ship background preferably
