A leading offshore contractor is seeking an experienced Offshore Welder to join ongoing offshore oil and gas operations in Namibia.
The successful candidate will perform welding, fabrication, structural repairs, and maintenance work on offshore facilities and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication activities offshore
Repair and maintain structural components and equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
Conduct inspections of welded structures
Follow permit-to-work and HSE procedures
Participate in safety meetings and emergency drills
Requirements
Previous offshore welding experience
Relevant welding trade certification
Valid OPITO BOSIET certificate
Valid offshore medical certificate
Yellow Fever vaccination certificate
COVID vaccination certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong commitment to safety
